Responses to Murdo's Members' Bill on Fly-tipping from individuals and organisations to Murdo's Members' Bill on Fly-tipping have been published.
Murdo brought forward plans to drastically improve current legislation on fly-tipping. His Bill has already attracted support from organisations including Scottish Land and Estates and NFU Scotland.
The Bill seeks to improve current laws surrounding fly-tipping.
Commenting, Murdo Fraser MSP said: "Fly-tipping has blighted communities for far too long. I believe this is an essential Bill which will update current legislation and punishments in relation to fly-tipping which date back over three decades.
"Fly-tipping is selfish and completely irresponsible. The Bill will ensure the strongest possible message is sent out to fly-tippers that they will be hit with tougher penalties and will have to clean up after themselves."
Of the responses, 79% are fully supportive of the Bill; 86% support removal of legal liability from the person who has waste deposited on their land and 81% of those who answered, are fully supportive of local authority fines being higher.
