Murdo Fraser MSP has given his support to Small Business Saturday and is encouraging local residents in Perth and Kinross and Fife to go out and support all types of small businesses on December 4.
The Scottish Conservative politician was speaking following Small Business Saturday holding a Zero emissions event outside the Scottish Parliament as part of their national tour, which includes an electric van, car, moped and pushbike.
The tour began earlier this week at COP26 in Glasgow.
Commenting, Mr Fraser, who represents the Mid Scotland and Fife region, said: “I fully support Small Business Saturday. It is a grassroots campaign which highlights the success of small businesses and also encourages residents to ‘shop local’ at the next Small Business Saturday on December 4.
“I know that many small businesses take part in the day and offer discounts to shoppers, and I would ask residents to back the campaign.”
